Meige syndrome is a rare neurological disorder that forces contractions of the muscles of the lower face, especially the jaw and tongue. This can be very uncomfortable for the patient, causing excessive blinking or contractions of the eyelids and face. It can also cause apraxia which can also affect speech. Some side effects may include difficulty triggering a blink or closing the eyelid.

Botox is a very effective non-surgical treatment

Botox is a toxin produced by the bacteria Clostridium Botulinum which weakens the muscles by blocking the nerve impulses transmitted by the nerve endings of the muscles. Botox is commonly used to treat blepharospasm, hemifacial spasms and migraines. It is also very effective in treating hyperhydrosis and reducing excessive sweating in the armpits, hands and groin.

What is Botox?

Botox (or Bocouture) are injectable drugs, composed of varieties of purified botulinum toxin type A and used to temporarily relax (or weaken) certain targeted muscles. Depending on the target muscles, a variety of desired therapeutic effects can result. Repeated and involuntary contraction of the muscles of the face and neck below the surface (in combination with a variety of other factors) causes wrinkles and lines covering the face and neck, which eventually become visible at rest over time. Relax the underlying muscles responsible for the face and neck with small injections of small amounts of Las Vegas Botox eliminates, reduces or prevents many wrinkles, fine lines and wrinkles on the face and neck.

Botox is generally safe, effective, non-surgical, painless and has no downtime. A younger, less wrinkled appearance starts from 1 to 3 days, but can take up to 2 weeks; and last 3-6 months.

The side effects

They are unusual, temporary and not dangerous in cosmetic dosages. Side effects are linked to the involuntary spread of toxins to adjacent muscles, and these unintended effects are transient.
